On Friday I left work early so I could drive "up north" to Midland:
Actually I was driving 70 most of the way, which is the speed limit, so there.
Then I had to drive out to farm country, to my hometown:
All so that I could attend my brother's wedding:
I actually like the acoustic version by a band called The Whip instead:
The wedding ceremony went off pretty much without a hitch, but there was one person who objected to it:
Juno didn't like Mommy and Daddy getting married without her, so Daddy had to hold on to her through most of it.
And then after the dinner was a lot of cleaning up, which by the time it was done, I felt like my feet would fall off. I don't think there's a song clip for that. What we needed were those enchanted brooms and mops from "Fantasia" only without all the classical music and stuff.
The End?
In college I had a roommate who loved Sammy Hagar so much he played "I Can't Drive 55" all the time. He rewrote the lyrics to "I can't ride one, five" meaning 15 miles per hour and made it his theme song for riding his bicycle. He had two dirt bikes and rode them everywhere.
ReplyDeleteNicely done. Glad to see you've decided to post baby pictures on your blog.
ReplyDeleteBriane, are you accusing me of getting soft? Anyway, I only have four pictures of her. I keep forgetting to bring my camera when I see her or else she gets fussy before I can take a picture.
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, Juno doesn't like me. The other night when I came into the room and sat down she started crying and wouldn't stop until I left.
