When I was little, we still had an 8-track player and one of the 8 tracks we had for it was Snoopy's Christmas by the Royal Guardsmen. Eventually we upgraded to CD. This is pretty much the only song on the album that actually involves Christmas.

I'm commenting on all three posts here: I liked your free verse Christmas poetry thing, but the excerpt from your book was great -- the details are phenomenal and I disagree with Michael: I don't think it's lazy to take something and repost it, not when it's that good.
You deserve to win. And I'm not just going around saying that to everyone. I'm being totally sincere, unless you've already seen the comment I left on Michael's blog saying the same thing in which case...
