If you remember my By Request post it featured a book trailer for the novel Escape From Ensenada. Recently his brother Ethan Cooper said there's now a second book trailer. It comes with this ringing endorsement:
My brother has just issued his second trailer for his novel Escape From Ensenada. This time, he imitates Rod Serling. Tom says he's hoping that "stupid" sells books.
Do you think "stupid" sells books?
And here was the first trailer:
And we'll conclude the march to Christmas with some random videos and stuff in lieu of real posts. Because really we're probably all mailing in the social networking right about now.
If you like cats (and who on the Internet doesn't?) this is probably the saddest Christmas song possible. Meryn Cadell with "The Cat Carol."
If that wasn't depressing enough, here's the Be Good Tanyas with "Rudy" about a red-nosed wino.
That kind of puts everything in perspective, doesn't it?
Mail them in then. I only write a real post about once every two months anyway, the rest are just stuff I come up with the help of a random word generator and one of those spin dials from Twister.
ReplyDeleteI'd think Stupid might sell books. It's worth a shot anyway, the signal to noise ratio out there is to high to expect the novel to sell itself right now. I read last week that something like 2 million ebooks were produced last year. I don't know if that's true, but if it is, that's a lot of crap people had to wade through in order to find a book.
Stupid sells pretty much everything else, so why not books? Anything to get noticed, I guess.
